Beon approached us with a clear objective: to transform their digital presence into a dynamic platform that reflected their leadership in renewable energy. Their existing website struggled to effectively showcase their diverse portfolio, with usability challenges that hindered navigation and engagement.
Our approach
To address these challenges, we developed a sophisticated and visually engaging interactive map that became the cornerstone of the site. This map showcases Beon’s projects through intuitive icons, using clustering algorithms to group nearby locations for improved clarity. Users can filter projects dynamically by type, location, and category, enabling effortless exploration of Beon’s portfolio. AJAX-driven functionality ensures smooth transitions without page reloads, enhancing the overall user experience.
Beyond the map, we modernised the site using WordPress and Advanced Custom Fields (ACFs) to allow dynamic content updates. This ensured Beon could keep their portfolio current without technical barriers. Subtle animations, hover effects, and a streamlined navigation system were introduced to create an immersive, user-friendly interface.
Content presentation was designed with accessibility in mind, providing clear project labels, intuitive filters, and responsive layouts to engage users across devices.
