The challenge
Arcadian Digital was approached by Tilley Soaps to improve their online presence and drive more direct-to-consumer sales. Tilley Soaps aimed to evolve their eCommerce offering and shift customer purchasing towards online channels. To address the challenges of content editing on their existing Magento platform, Arcadian Digital sought out alternative platforms that were more user-friendly and easier to learn for their content editors while still achieving all of their platform integrations.
Our approach
During the discovery phase, we determined that Shopify was the best platform for Tilley Soaps. We customised a Shopify template to rebuild the website and streamlined its administration and business integrations. This approach allowed us to deliver a user-friendly experience with an efficient development process. In addition, we identified and implemented various integrations to improve the user experience and automate various business operations.
The outcome
The final outcome was a user-friendly Shopify website that met the needs of both Tilley Soaps and its customers. The website was designed with ease-of-use in mind, both from a content editing perspective and from the customer’s viewpoint.
To ensure the website was fully functional and to support the day-to-day operations of sales and logistics, we integrated various third-party tools. These included MYOB, Australia Post, Campaign Monitor, and various Shopify apps for loyalty support.
In addition, we performed an SEO audit to kick-start Tilley Soaps’ SEO journey. Our keyword and competitor research informed the audit and allowed Tilley Soaps to optimise their Google Ads and Paid Facebook campaigns, resulting in a higher ROI.
