Arcadian Digital is a Melbourne technology company that builds secure platforms for health, wellbeing and occupational health organisations, including AI in healthcare operations, such as assistants that support staff in the field. For GCG, an independent occupational hygiene consultancy, Arcadian Digital built Exposi, a full-stack platform with more than 100 screens that unifies occupational hygiene planning, sampling, analysis and reporting and gave GCG a new recurring revenue stream.
Health information is sensitive information under the Privacy Act 1988, so it has to stay secure as different systems are connected. At GCG, exposure data and compliance were previously managed in fragmented spreadsheets and disconnected tools, with no real-time view of sample statuses or trends. For OCC Health Predict, booking, patient notifications, medical data capture and results all ran on manual processes before they moved online.
What has changed is that one platform can now hold the whole workflow and put an AI assistant beside the people using it. In Exposi, statistical outputs feed directly into the interface and field users get the Hygenie AI chatbot for contextual support. Bupa’s wellness portal shows the other half of the answer: a custom codebase that can scale without needing a rebuild.

Arcadian Digital builds platforms that unify health and hygiene workflows. Partnering with GCG, we developed Exposi into a Next.js platform covering planning, sampling, analysis, and reporting. Replacing spreadsheets, it provides structured health risk assessment workflows, displaying statistical metrics like UCL95 and UTL95 in-line alongside tools like the Hygenie AI chatbot. GCG established a dedicated technology division and recurring revenue stream, with Arcadian Digital continuing as its delivery partner.
We also build secure, custom health portals on code clients fully control. Bupa engaged us to build a corporate platform delivering loyalty products, skin check bookings, flu scheduling, and wellbeing reports. Built as a custom Ruby on Rails application on AWS, the Bupa Wellness Portal features custom webhooks, e-commerce, and dynamic PDF generation. Passing bi-annual penetration tests, it has grown tenfold since 2019 without requiring a rebuild.
To move manual health processes online, we build secure, automated web applications. For OCC Health Predict, we created a Ruby on Rails platform on AWS to manage bookings, patient notifications, medical uploads, and assessment workflows, leading to its acquisition by Helius in 2019. Similarly, for Prestige Inhome Care, we rebuilt the site on a WordPress framework using custom workflows that reduced manual workload for care teams.
